Carla Miller has dedicated 23 years to education within Atlanta Public Schools. She holds a bachelor of science in urban education, an educational specialist degree in teacher leadership, and a Ph.D. in early childhood education, all from Georgia State University. Currently serving as a literacy coach, Carla supports teachers in implementing effective literacy practices, leads professional learning communities, and offers expertise in structured literacy. Her previous roles include reading specialist and classroom teacher, where she applied research-based literacy strategies to support struggling readers. A lifelong learner, Carla is passionate about ensuring that all students have equal opportunities to learn to read.
