A kindergarten teacher at heart, Lydia has worked as a literacy coach for the past six years. She provides professional development to teachers and advocates for equity in literacy instruction for all students. Lydia received a Bachelors of Arts degree in Elementary Education and Spanish from Aurora University in Aurora, Illinois and a Masters in Education from Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi. Lydia lives in Mississippi with her husband and two boys. When she is not found cheering on her boys on the baseball diamond, she enjoys running and attending Ole Miss baseball and football games.
