John Bennetts, M.Ed.

John is a passionate educator who brings over a decade of school-based experience to his work. Currently, John lives in Providence, RI and works as an independent educational consultant supporting rural and urban schools across the country. He has taught at the elementary and middle school levels. In addition to his teaching experience, he has served as principal and an assistant principal at both the elementary and middle school level in rural and urban settings. His primary responsibility in these administrative positions was instructional coaching. John also worked as a K-12 literacy specialist at the Rhode Island Department of Education. His work in schools focuses on shifting practices of leaders and teachers to ensure research-based practices are implemented in an effective, sustainable manner which maximizes long-term results for students.
