Shiyana Valentine
Senior Project Manager, Reading Universe
Shiyana has focused the last thirteen years of her career on supporting education and literacy, primarily for underrepresented communities. Most recently, she was the Education & Community Engagement Manager for WUCF TV. Previously, Shiyana worked for the Orange County Library System and ran a nonprofit organization for youth and literacy. She has received multiple awards for her work, including a 2021 Suncoast Regional Emmy. Shiyana has an MA in International Development from American University and a BA in Peace Studies from Colgate University.
