'ang' - 'a', 'n', 'g', fang , /ang/.
'ing' - 'i', 'n', 'g', ring , /ing/.
'ong' - 'o', 'n', 'g', song , /ong/.
'ung' - 'u', 'n', 'g', lung , /ung/.

This is how we warm up the glued sound flash cards.

This is an 'ng' and so it warps the vowel sound. That's why we called them glued or welded sounds.
