EPP Model Course Syllabus: Syllabus 3: Teaching Language Comprehension

This model course syllabus developed by Stephanie Stollar This course explores the essential components of language comprehension through the lens of the Simple View of Reading. You’ll explore how skilled readers develop through explicitly teaching fluency, morphology, vocabulary, and comprehension. Through practical application of assessment tools and instructional interventions you’ll support the development of language comprehension skills, content area literacy, and written expression.
