This is how we warm up the glued sound flash cards.

This is an 'ng' and so it warps the vowel sound. That's why we called them glued or welded sounds.

'ang', fang, /ang/.

'ing,' ring, /ing/.

'ong', song, /ong/.

'ung', lung, /ung/.

This is how we warm up the glued sound flashcards. We sometimes call these welded sounds because when you add a vowel to an '-nk', the '-nk' often warps the vowel sound. 'ank', tank, /ank/. 'ink', pink, /ink/. 'onk', honk, /onk/. 'unk', trunk, /unk/.

This is how we warm up with the 'all' flashcard. The 'l's warp, the 'a''s sound. So 'a' is making the /ŏ/ sound. 'a', 'l', 'l', "ball," /ŏl/.
