This is how we warm up the consonant '-le' flash cards. Remember, consonant '-le' is always the final syllable in a multisyllabic word. That is why it starts with a dash. A syllable will always be attached before the consonant '-le' syllable. So the way we say these cards and teach them to students is '-fle', waffle, /fl/. '-ple', purple, /pl/. '-gle', juggle, /gl/. '-zle', puzzle. /zl/. '-tle', turtle, /tl/. '-ble', bubble, /bl/. '-dle', candle, /dl/.
